Echoes of Persepolis
Echoes of Persepolis
There are places in this world where time lingers—where the stones speak in silence, and shadows dance with history. Persepolis is one of them.
Once the ceremonial heart of the Achaemenid Empire, Persepolis is more than a ruin. It is a grand echo of what once was—a monument carved from both stone and ideology. Standing amid its towering columns and fractured reliefs, I can’t help but see not just the architecture, but the emotion behind it. The rhythm of its geometry, the harmony of its proportions, the poetry of space—all tell a story deeper than history books ever could.
As an architect and visual storyteller, I’ve always been fascinated by the power of ruins. They are not dead structures, but living memories etched into the landscape. Persepolis, with its monumental staircases, imposing gates, and intricate carvings, whispers to us through time. It speaks of ceremony, of empire, of identity—and of silence after the fall.
Inspired by this timeless beauty, I composed a short piece of music titled “Echoes of Persepolis.” It’s a humble attempt to capture the emotional weight and architectural brilliance of this ancient site—through sound.

I invite you to watch and listen. Close your eyes, imagine walking through the Gate of All Nations, feeling the weight of history, the rhythm of columns, and the silence between the stones.
If the piece moves you, or even if it doesn’t, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Leave a comment on the video or message me—your feedback helps shape the next layer of this creative journey.
Let’s keep the echoes alive.
